The raised, curved gallery and event floor at ODDspace. The ODDspace auditorium with tiered seating for talks and screenings. A co-working lounge area at ODDspace with seating and local art on the walls. The audio and podcast studio at ODDspace, with recording equipment and a blue curtain backdrop. The ODDspace entrance, with the ODDspace mark on the door. The industrial Vallila building that houses ODDspace. A full room at an ODDspace event, people seated and standing to listen. The 2nd-floor co-creation space: desks and lounge chairs by tall windows over the Konepaja chimney
A gallery, a co-creation floor and an auditorium.
ODDspace is a working creative space in Vallila with three bookable event rooms in it — a gallery at street level, a co-creation space one floor up, and an auditorium with tiered seating. Exhibitions, launches, workshops, talks, screenings, shoots, gatherings, performances and organisational events have all happened here. It does not feel like a hotel conference room — which is exactly why many choose it.
You do not need to be a member to book. Tell us the date and what you're planning, and we'll tell you whether the space can do it.
- Exhibitions and openings
- Product and brand launches

Three bookable rooms, plus the studio.

Gallery
The big room at street level — the raised, curved floor most evenings happen on. Openings, receptions, launches, concerts, club nights and performances. Its walls are usually hung with work, so tell us early if you need them clear.
- Up to 150 people, 320 m²
- Exhibitions, launches and receptions
- Concerts, club nights and performances
- Member rate: €200 for a full day

Event & co-creation space
One floor up, and closer to a living room than a venue: sofas, big black speakers and daylight from the windows. The room for a day-long programme rather than an evening crowd.
- Up to 150 people, on the 2nd floor
- Seminars, workshops and away-days
- Dinners and smaller parties

Auditorium
Tiered seating for talks, panels, screenings, presentations and smaller events — people facing one direction, without having to build a stage.
- Tiered, fixed seating
- Talks, panels and screenings
- Presentations and workshops
- Member rate: €100 for a half day

ODDstudio
The creative music studio, run with TUNEMENT. Booked separately from the event rooms — useful alongside an event for recording, podcasts or live sessions.
- Recording, co-writing and production
- Genelec monitoring and a mic locker
- From €20 / hour for members, from €30 / hour without
- Booked on its own page
Pick who you are. Get a number.
The price follows who is putting the event on, not how much we like the idea. Every price here is a starting price: choose the closest fit and you have a floor in a few seconds — then tell us what you are actually planning and we price that.
A registered association, an artist collective, a curator, an artist, a promoter with a gig or a club night. Ticketed or free.
A launch, a workshop, an away-day, a party. Room, staff and cleaning handled.
From
Every number here is a starting point, not a till receipt. We talk each event through — the room, the hours, the help you want — and price that. If your event is for a cause and the budget is not there, say so; we would rather hear it early.
All prices are + VAT 25.5%, for the room across your booked hours with setup and teardown inside them. Cleaning, catering, a bar licence and anything rigged are yours or quoted separately.

Need more than a venue?
The team behind ODDspace also develops and produces events, programmes and creative projects. If you need help with the concept, programme, production or bringing the right people together, tell us in your enquiry. We can build a wider collaboration around the event — or simply give you the room and let you run with it.
How it works.
Tell us the date and the idea
What you're planning, the date or dates, roughly how many people, and what you need the room to do.
We come back with availability and a price
Whether the date is free, which room fits, what the space can and cannot do for that plan, and what it costs.
We confirm it in writing
Times, access, setup and what's included, agreed before anything is booked in.
Things we answer per event, not on a page.
Tell us what you're planning and when. We'll confirm the relevant capacities, technical setup, access, availability and anything else you need to know for your event.
- Exact capacities and layouts for your format
- Room dimensions and what fits in them
- AV, sound and lighting — what's in the building and what we bring in
- Accessibility: step-free access, lifts and toilets are still being documented, so we tell you exactly what the space can do today
- Load-in, parking and getting gear through the door
- Catering, drinks and who can serve what
- How late the space can run
- Staffing, technical support and what we can produce for you
Two things worth reading first.
Neither one is long, and both save a phone call on the day.
Questions people actually ask.
Do I need to be a member to book?
No. Renting the gallery or the auditorium doesn't require a membership. Get a quote and we price your event.
What does it cost?
Members pay €100 for a half day and €200 for a full day. A creative organisation or a promoter pays €300 for the room, or nothing upfront on a revenue share where the first €350 of net ticket sales covers it. Companies and other organisations pay €750 for a half day and €1,200 for a full day or evening. All + VAT 25.5%, a house technician is €200 where you need one, and every price is open to discussion — the calculator above gives you a starting number for your own case.
How many people fit?
It depends on the room and the layout, and we would rather give you a real number for your format than a flattering one on a webpage. Tell us the date and the kind of event and we'll tell you what the room actually takes.
What AV and technical equipment is there?
Ask us with your plan. What's in the building, what we can bring in and what you should bring yourself depends on what you're doing — and we are still documenting the full inventory properly rather than listing it approximately.
Is the space accessible?
We do not have verified accessibility information for the building to publish yet — step-free access, lifts, accessible toilets and door widths are still being documented, and we would rather say that than reassure you about something we have not measured. If accessibility matters for your event, email hello@oddfest.co and we will tell you exactly what the space can and cannot do today.
Can I bring my own caterer, DJ or production team?
Usually yes — tell us who and what in the enquiry so we can check it against the building's own rules and confirm it with you before you book anyone.
Can ODD help produce the event, not just rent the room?
Yes. We produce our own events here every week. Say what you have in mind and we'll tell you what we could take on and what that would cost.
Can we record the event?
ODDstudio is in the same building and is booked separately — from €20 / hour for members and from €30 / hour without. Say so in your enquiry and we'll line the two bookings up.
Where is it?
Teollisuuskatu 9D, Vallila, Helsinki.
How far ahead should I ask?
As early as you can — the space is in daily use and popular dates go first. If your date is soon, ask anyway; sometimes it works.
